Description I met Peter walking down the street in Tulum.
He had hepatitis that caused him to have a stroke, and now he has very limited movement on the right side of his body. He grew up in Austria and lives often with people he meets in his travels. He goes to India and Mexico often, if he is in a cold place too long he will die (he has no money, and walking is very difficult for him). He wants me to write his life story.
"The waves crashing and wind blowing and sitting in the sand is life and what you like is life. It has no sense because you die sooner, later, it is senseless" -Peter Engels

it looks like he went the whole way, when most of us came back on the return ticket. Love the photo, the way he's holding the ciggie, it's a beautiful portrait. Will you write his story?

haha yes, this man just seems to blow wherever the wind takes him.
Thank you so much!
yes and no. I am thinking of writing a photo book about interesting strangers. He will definitely have a place in it if I do

It's a great idea, i hope you do produce this book. I think you write beautifully (and I don't say this lightly, i mean it).

thank you so much, I'd really like to get it done (it will take many years and lots of travel to complete it though)
you're so kind.
