I'm too much of a devout Jew to support Communism, not to mention that my grandfather's family fled the Ukraine from the Bolshevik Revolution and the subsequent Holodomor. so there's no intentional glorification of Communism, it clashes with my personal beliefs. My family and I just happened to have a Russian hat pin kicking around and it made for a funny picture!
I hope you understand- I respect and understand your opinion.

oh believe me, I know, hence why I respect your comment and where you're coming from. I figured that it would also be worthwhile to clarify my own position and that this is just one of those pictures that was spontaneous and that we found it funny because it looks uncannily like those propaganda portraits and is a parody of such.
but in all honesty, this isn't a subject I really want to get into in the public sphere[because people are prone to jumping in from the sidelines] and I'm really happy that we can be respectful!

Well, I figure respect has to be earned, and if I were more candidly speaking about my beliefs on the matter, that's no way to earn respect and a quick way to get a block. Always have to be tactful especially with such touchy subjects with strangers, like Judaism and Communism and the like. I know a lot on the two subjects and knowing more about you, this picture is much less eyebrow raising that's for sure!
If you would like to private message and discuss politics or something feel free! I don't know what exactly we'd talk about and it's possible our understands are the same or completely opposite, but I'm genuinely curious to hear you opinions and what you know on these topics, if you're willing to share with me.
I'll try my best to keep wording appropriate and it's very difficult to offend me anyways.
