It just might be, but these two have taken numerous once in a lifetime photo's together, they are both very photogenic together. 
On my old account, PhotographsByBri I have a few photo's of them together when they are younger in the fall with leafs.. she may not jump like she used to, but she still has a little pep in her.

I've done a few photo shoots professionally, but I prefer doing it just for fun.
I still do photo shoots for people when I feel like it, but I never charge and they supply the memory card and I do the rest.. just for the love of it.

I do a few family shoot now for fun
I'll spend an hour, give them around 50
photos on memory stick, they can print what they want
and they give me a small amount like between $75 to $100
its not often and not a lot, its just a past time and I am notΒ
a professional but love it that way and would not want the pressure
of doing it professionally either, my daughter did some when she
lived at home and some people can be very demanding and she only asked
for $50 at the time, she hated it after getting some of those people haha!
I can't imagine when people pay big buck How some might be,
We both don't like that kind of situation lol! and just want to have fun
and pretty sure you feel the same way!

Yes so you know!! Exactly!! 
I would only charge 50 for portraits and 100 for weddings and other events.. though the wedding money never come and they loved the photo's.... so they got them on facebook and then I no see cash, they no see photo's on memory card. It was the same with other clients, I give them all the photo's on facebook, but until they paid in full, they would not get the memory card with the originals.
One photo shoot, it was a senior portrait, she was more then happy to pay the 50 dollars, compared to the "professionals" at studios, what they charge is high way robbery! I get charging a good 100, because when you print the photo's out and have to use ink and printing paper, the time to do it, a line up of clients and the amount of mental energy it takes... and that is not including other factors like gas, photo props, camera equipment, ext. So yes it is reasonable to an amount.. but some of them go and charge 500 a pop! 
But it's one of those things that makes you almost hate what was once a passion. I lost it after some time, the passion and heart for it... when money is involved, it makes the art a job. Though some say that when you find a career that you are passionate about, you never a work a day in your life. Well whoever said that is full of horse dung!

Hairstyling is my number 1 passion
and to this day don't find it to be a job
I still love it! Even if I'm pretty much retired,
after 38 years of it!
other then that it all depends what happensΒ
on a job, its the people around that sometimes
can make you hate it or love it
like boss,co workers, clients etc..
The best thing is if you can make it for yourself
and not have to be under anyones control then
its love the job for life which is then not a job but a pleasure!
I have been lucky in making the right choices in that matter for sure!
Thats also the direction my daughter is heading, I guess after seeing
that her Mom was happy always haha! Can't blame her

Well that is wonderful, I'm glad that you can find something you are passionate about and at one time got paid for it and it still holds a high passion.
Obviously photography for me will always hold a high passion in my heart. But at the time... it was lacking after a while and I stopped for at least a good year. But now I'm back on the boat and doing it all again and falling in love all over!
But it's probably a personal thing with some, I guess everyone is different and I give major kudos and congrats to the ones that can still have passion for it and mix it with money.
But I do see your point, it can be sometimes the clients, boss, co workers ext.
Yeah I agree with that and when it comes to a hobby turned to making a little money, it's best to be the man, work for yourself and be under no one. I did that... never tried to work under anyone and so I don't know how that would have been different, but I'm assuming it would have been worse.
Yeah I see that your daughter has a real talent for styling arts and also the make up thing, she is brilliant to do that, I've seen your photo's of your face painted and wow, it's amazing what she can do!
I have no doubt she takes a lot of talent from her mom!

Fire situation better last time I heard.
Its now raining intermittently and a bit cooler weather
its also now away from the oil plants
so for now plan still in motion for re-entry
June 1st and on, my neighbourhood June 2nd
and so on for others, just hope people have respect
for the law so its not chaos returning like it was to leave
even if there was no incidents
The fire is still raging on in the forest, it has reached Saskatchewan
next province to the East of Alberta
I just hope the wind does not shift it towards any more towns
Hubby now has 6 days off (4 left) and Jasper (in Rocky mountains) is offering
a lot of good discounts for Fort mcMurray evacuees, so we booked a hotel
for a little getaway together, its really great this hotel for a room with
queen bed is normally $170.00 per night, they gave it to us for $49.
How awesome is that, so we booked three night because hubby has
to go back to workΒ and we don't leave until tomorrow, should be fun!

Also I'm sure it must be nice to get some quality time with your brother and his family.
Hopefully they put a burn ban on any burning in the woods and anyone who is caught doing it will receive a huge fine... that might help.
That is a hell of a good deal, one night is cheaper then three nights there... well can't go wrong with a price like that!
A lot of those towns you have mentioned, I've been to and I particularly enjoyed Alberta, I thought it was so very beautiful and enjoyed it very much!
But yes let us hope the shift does not go towards any more towns, it would be even more tragic.

I've heard reports from friends who work for the town
and are there to help with re-entry and everything sounds pretty
good, even homes in my area are smoke free, they got to goΒ
