I painted this for my friends in Japan. Last year at this same time I was in Japan, I was visiting my host family, living with them in Natori. I found out this morning that Natori was hit by the Tsunami, that most of the places I visited there were under water, destroyed or burning... I haven't heard for my host family but i believe they are okay. They lived on part of a small mountain. But this goes out to them and all the others I meet when I was there. You are all in my thoughts and I hope you are all okay.I used water color to paint it.

I don't know...apparently all the electricity, cell phones, internet, and everything are down and I can send a letter because it will never get there... with all of this.
