Jr looked around at the Red Army, to his side was Pauline & her parents & behind him was his mom, the original leader. It was Jr's turn to become leader of the Red Army, his mom had been training him for years for this moment... And they'd all be for nothing unless he joined the army or something...

"Ok get out, you're all unemployed. Show's over, I'm shutting the army down." Jr said into the mic as he watched everyone react

It took a while but most of the army finally left, any that stayed behind were faithful to the army & likely just wanted to make sure the others left safely or something. Most of the army really had any idea what to do now, many of them had spent their lives bringing this army up with Tord. Some of the army lived on site while others at least had lives they could return to but at the moment that was none of Jr's problem, it was time this army finally went away. At one point he was kind of excited to be leader but he was just a child & now he could see it was awful. When he had become old enough to work for the army & was at a position to help out he slowly started to drain the army's money & weakening them as much as he could which included allowing his half brother's friend/family to use stolen items, hell at one point he had given a time travel device to Tom.(Though according to Ernie he'd given it to him & Matt to stop Edd in an alternate timeline) It probably wasn't noticeable due to being at it a lot but from what he learned from Pauline his plan had been working.

Looking around behind him he could see a reassuring look from Pauline & the shadow behind her, looking at her parents he saw that they were just looking at his mom. Jr looked & saw that his mom was surprisingly calm for having just had all his life's work burn up in seconds of stepping down & having his son become leader. The exact son he'd worked hard on becoming the perfect next in-command, the reason Jr's older half brother had been made, partly the reason why he got an operation to be able to carry Jr after years of cigars & stuff made him unable to carry like other omegas.

"You're not mad?" Jr asked, he was met with a chuckle from his mom as he stood up

"I probably would in another time but at this point there really isn't much left. I've had a mostly good run." He said before looking at his robot arm to imply something before continuing "To be honest everything not counting the money slowly running out(yes I know what you did) the army has started to become inactive. I didn't want to say anything but I've been losing focus of the reason for this army. I guess you can blame your father & my friends for that, ever since your dad started dating me & when I rekindled my relationships with my friends I've been feeling things I didn't realize I wanted... I guess I'm not sure what I want at this point..."

Jr was a little surprised to hear this & unsure how to react which lead to him looking at Pau & Pat

"We're mostly still here because Tord is our friend. After having kids & some other stuff, we're ready to just settle down."

Jr couldn't help but struggle to let everything sink in & just stood there until a hand reached out to him. Looking up he saw a smiling Pauline, she had untied her ponytail that she only wore when in uniform & tied to the side like it usually was.

"Come on, it's time to go home. I'm sure Ernie knows what just happened & is waiting for us, I know Gracie will be relieved that the army is gone."

Jr could only smile at her before pulling off his Red Army arm band & tossing before taking her hand & leaving with her & their parents. They were heading to the door as the torn arm band fell to the floor as if signifying the end to something.

This was originally called "It Rends Tonigh-edd" but it the pun was to shitty even for me, also S wanted me to draw Jr removing the arm band or tossing it or something but I drew this instead

I had trouble writing the little oneshot I made for this(especially some explanations mentioned in it) but wanted to finish it without interfering to much

So what happened is that Tord has been training & getting Tord Jr ready to take his place when he's older. But Jr as he got older realized he didn't want this & that the Red Army was bad(Gracie & Ernie kind of helped with that) so he's been sabotaging it over time including helping Tom & Matt get the time machine thing in WTFuture.(I'll explain the mention of alternate timeline later) The moment he becomes leader his first order is to disband or something(forgot what S said, I'll likely have to fucking fix this shit later) the entire army.

After S made the house wife AU(which is now part of our alternate Eddsworld instead of an AU) I was planning 2 stories for what happened after Jr ended the army but kind of decided not to do it.

So in the ending before the house wife AU became part of this Jr would have just talked to Tord before they left for a new life. Said life was pretty much Tord thinking things over & being unsure what to do while staying in the apartment most(or hanging out with Pau & Pat, who live next door) while Jr got a job & hung out with Pauline & Ernie. Tord would likely sometimes talk to Jr about what he should possibly do which also leads to him being scared to face his friends again after so long/the Red Army ending/after what he did.

With this one though they all just go to the lives they had after Tord married Eduardo, Tord is a full time house wife & sometimes going on adventures when his friends have them(though their adventure days are mostly over & their kids are doing the adventures now), Jr & Pauline live in an apartment together & hang out with Ernie when not doing their jobs, & Pat n Pau are just doing whatever but also hanging with Tord & the gang.

Kind of forgot to mention this earlier but part about Tord loosing focus on his goals with the army & his friends making him not want to do it anymore plus what would have happened if the house wife AU didn't become part of the alternate Eddsworld thing was based on a fanfic. It was about Tom helping Edd recover from the guilt & trauma he had from The End especially since he'd been dating Tord. Well technically Tord didn't want to make it official because he know he'd have to leave eventually, Tord only made it official when he came back with the help of Edd talking to him.

This comes from the part were we finally see what Tord is doing(besides being on TV for bombings & stuff), Tord truly did love Edd & the guilt from hurting him was eatting him to the point he lost focus on army.(The bombings were due to Pat & Pau trying to make people know they're still alive) Tord eventually disbands the army(which at this point is just him, Pat & Pau) with their help & fakes his death with a clone he found. The three eventually go off the grid as they start a new life in an apartment, Tord isn't really sure what to do yet, Pau is ready to have a normal life & Pat is joining an activist group.

This version is kind of better than the fanfic as Pau actually had to stop Tord from killing himself while in this he just is aware he has to accept & move on. While Tord knows he he can no longer go back & even tells Tom this is the last time he'll see him when they end up meeting at Tord's grave, Tord with the house wife bit was able to return home & even has fixed his relations(plus made new ones) before the end of the army.(Even the original ending while he's kind of moping in guilt still has the possibility of meeting his friends again with the help of Jr)
