Apon the wake of deku going solo he fought lady nagant who had been bonded to the carnage symbiote had attacked deku. Carnage was trying to use the offshoot bonded to lady nagant to assimilate one for all. Deku discovering that the bio electrical energy he generates when using one for all can disrupt the symbiote’s molecular structure. After doing this he had attempted to take a breath when both venom and dynamite warn deku to get away only for the carnage symbiote to bond with him. Deku attempted to use his quirk to remove the symbiote however carnage assimilated his dna and trace amounts of one for all. This created a codex that gave the symbiote immunity to deku’s bio electrical spark. The symbiote was then being piloted by Cletus who was taunting the heroes on how they failed to protect deku and now he has one for all. After a long fight venom used a Repulser blast to remove the symbiote. The offshoot ended up back to kasady who absorbed it and the codex of izuku mydoria along with it. With a working replica of one for all and its quirks he then planed to give it to shigeraki.
