Meh, don't let the proportion talk get you down. Sure, they're off a bit, but the piece as a whole is lovely. And your shading has come so far, honestly, it's brilliant in this piece.

They've both suffered many trials, and the guy sees the girl as his angel.
Or maybe, the guy feels sorry for her, sees through her eyes a courageous girl.

Thank you. That's what happens over time. 
Yeah I noticed that when I started drawing, but hoped that if I ket drawing, people would be drawn to the man and the streets rather than my pathetic body.
P.S. I shall read them. I've had a really...wild ride with life right now. It's hard to juggle things. And I will get to it. :]
