I am totally addicted to this series. I have to say his helmet is a little 'Lord of the Rings'-ish, but it totally works because it makes him look ancient, obsolete, and totally menacing - like he is something from a previous age threatening to snuff out all notions of progress. Is the series going to delve into the caste system later? I think that if there is one thing Zeta Prime is proud of, it is his dedication to 'order' and stifling all things remotely innovative. Those are just my thoughts. Great work!

Thanks a lot. Glad you like the series! And yep, he's meant to look like something from a previous age. The caste system isn't dealt with in specifics, but as the series progresses you'll definitely see how Zeta feels toward some of the less fortunate citizens of, say, Nyon.

It was also rad to see Sky Lynx. He was one of my faves from G1. And Hot Rod as some sort of shady character with criminal ties? Absolutely priceless.

Thanks! I wanted him to have the feel of being from a medieval era ( as far as Transformers go), where basically you could see at some point he would have been regal, but has lost his way.

cool idea,i dont think there's enough diversity in the transformers designs,you get a few cool one's (galvatron looks quite samurai,the fallen looked like he could almost be steam punk),so kudos for mixing it up.

Thanks man..and that's a good point. Optimus Prime's helmet shape was apparently inspired by a Samurai design as well, or so I've heard. But yeah..when you've got a robot like Prowl standing next to Cosmos standing next to SkyLynx..they could almost be three different races. I'd say there's room to explore a lot more.

I love his appearances in autocracy, and his elite guards in issue 4 looks like smaller versions of him.
