I like it very much. Looks like this poor flower is seeking for something, like a snake wriggling for something to eat. Oh yes, he is in a need for some photons from sun (he doesn't like that spotlight 
And I have the need for saying two things:

I thought about trying that aspect with the same daffodil I used for my flower wallpaper. I decided that it probably wouldn't look good. I wish I had tried it now. Honestly though, I think that the shape of this flower lends itself to the angle. The flower is simple enough to not dominate the stem. I like it
