Aquariums look almost like another world when the lights are all out. The water making reflections on your face while you look at the creatures staring back at you. I love it! faved!

Lovely idea.. it reminds me of all the times you want to be something else as a child.. create your own world, swim with dolphins, fly with the birds, and how everything seems possible.. this painting gives a feeling of hope and aspiration, and is a perfect representation of childhood dreams.

I've always loved the way the aquarium seems to bring together two alternate universes, one where everyone can fly and one where people are tied to the ground, and there's nothing but people. I love everything about the turtle, and I love the excited, yet almost evil quality of the girl's hands.
