I recently played fallout 1 for the first time and managed to bring Dogmeat all the way to the end of the game (Which isn't easy)

Dogmeat is really the only companion that I liked. Ian always got in my way and Katja would not shut up about how much she hated dogs. Even after dying tragically to a group of raiders she managed to say her catchphrase one final time: "I hate dogs". I did not get the other two companions and don't care about them.
