Wow, it's already been over 2 years since I painted this.Vas (rhymes with "gravitas") is a nonbinary character. One of the main characters to my upcoming adult sci-fi drama graphic novel, "The Anaether."
In this earlier concept piece, Vas appears more robotic. I decided they'll be more organic than this. They're a cybernetic alien with psionic attributes. In the graphic novel, other characters use different pronouns (he/she/they) on Vas depending on who is addressing/referring to them.
