I gave up on that a long time ago my weasels never look weaselly enough so I just draw them how I draw them

Hahaha I know how you feel! I do that with a lot of animals and just tell myself that one day I will actually look up the correct anatomy xD

i have a few reference pictures but I can never get it right anyway, weasels have a sort of longish skull with little low ears, stoats have higher ears but even with this in mind they never look right!

Yeah, their ears are pretty far at the base of the skull and their eyes are pretty close to their nose. And overall, he skull is like an elongated tear drop. I always find the ears and eyes the hardest part

I agree, the ears are hell, and the eyes never come out right the rest of the body is great though, who doesn't like a weasely wriggly body
