Mwehehehe...I've been wantin to do a pic of him for a long time.
He'll probably usurp Seto as Papyrus' mascot, if I ever get around to updating. Seto's been there for over a year.
Need to work on those hands too, before I color this... anyone wanna help me by pointing out discrepancies? I keep thinking there's something a bit off about his torso...
Y'know I'd've figured him for a blonde (your fault, Skyla, with all your Mahaado-is-Malik's-ancestor
) but apparently he's a brunette. XP

you said to point out discrepancies, so I'll do so. for his left arm, the best way to fix it I can think of is sharpening the angle for his bicep. Or, you could try for a rotation/foreshortening effect (affect? I always get those two mixed up) but that would mean turning the hand so the palm is not visible to the viewer at all. As has been previously stated, the torso is slightly lopsided, but the belt is also a little lower than the hips should logically be. To fix that, you'd only have to move it up a tiny fraction of a centimeter, but I think it would help balance the torso a little more. You could cheat and just make the belt wider, too.
the main problem with the left hand? it looks like someone bent it in half, lengthwise. If you hold up your own hand, thumb turned toward you and palm down and parallel to the ground, you can barely see the other fingers. Mahaado looks like a contortionist with his hand like that, or some poor fellow with a broken/out of socket thumb.
the rest of it is really strong work, though; I like your style better than some manga artists!

He needs a bigger chest...hmm....uhh yeah his elbow is poistioned wrong and uhh are his eyes alittle too small or is it me? lol he needs to be manly looking because he's a man isn't he?

As SanguineousRose said, the torso is thicker on one side. Also, his left arm is shorter (note the position of his elbow). I think that his left hand is a bit thick; the line coming from his pinky is, I mean.

You weren't imagining things. Something is a bit off with the torso. If you put a line through him exactly, you might notice that he seems to be a tad leaner on the viewer's left side than on the right. I think the problem might be the line of his clothes on the viewer's right side. The torso-part of the robe looks as if its directly connected to that jewel on the Viewer's Right Side. (Since it's annoying to write it out, I'll just refer the sides as VLS or VRS.)
See where it just ends, that line that stops at Maahado's left arm? Yeah. I think that may just be the source of the off-ness.
Nothing seems to be wrong with his left hand. And the belt just compliments his... very nice torso. ^^ Heh.
Anyway...
Shall be looking forward to more of your fantastic drawings!

hm.. I pegged him to be blonde too.. But actually, while he is brunette in the anime, I've seen him all over the place as blonde.. There are versions of him as brunette, but mostly blonde. *shruggs* So I say- whatever color you thinks works.
hmm... something just seems kinda weird about his outfit.. Not sure what it is.. but something definitely seems kinda.. off. hm.. *wanders off pondering*

Anyway, this picture came out really good, Liz. The only problem I see with it, is not the torso itself but the belt. The belt tends to hug his waist as oppose to cling to his hips. It still looks really good though.

He looks a bit different, his costume I mean. Those spikes on his crown-thingy are shorter. There are some other things that don't seem quite right, but I don't mind... It's still a cool drawing.
