Sketchier than usual I know, but I had a killer headache for the better part of the day. x_x ...And maybe because I didn't really have a style to immitate. This one's my own, folks... And maybe because this is more fic advertising than art. XD But it's such a cool fic...

Done for Aspen's A Year Like None Other [link]

There are tons and tons of "Severitus Challenge" fics, but I like it better if Harry isn't Snape's biological son, thank you very much ("Harry Snape"? XP). If Snape can actually learn to care for Harry Potter, well then, I think it means a lot more than trying to tolerate someone out of blood obligation. No instantanious changes of heart in Aspen's fic. Trust isn't something that's easy to build and years of prejudice isn't easy to tear down. Go have a read. It's a good fic, I promise. Much better than my little scribble. x_x

Fic Preview:

"...no," Snape was hissing. "No, Albus. Do not suggest this again."

"But surely," the headmaster softly insisted, "if you would just speak to him, Severus..."

"I will not speak to that irresponsible idiot if I can possibly avoid it, Albus, is that not clear to you by now? He left the house! You know what that led to."

"Severus, be reasonable. He didn't realize--"

"Oh, he never realizes, that one," Snape quietly snarled. "Never thinks of anyone but himself. But he should have, Albus. What are we to do now, to stay ahead of Voldemort's mad schemes? Thanks to him, the Dark Lord will never trust his secrets to me, again!"

"Severus--"

"No, I will not talk to him. And what is more, Albus, I am of half a mind to stop making his Potion, as well. Let him suffer. I certainly can't bring myself to care."

A heavy sigh, and footsteps stalking away.

Harry bit his hand again, and told himself it was just as well he couldn't cry.
