Hm, I might just stick to this colouring technique, because it is the one I like best ^_^ I don't care if is isn't 'hard' enough to be anime, but this is my kind of style, not yours.
Sorry but I'm a little annoyed of how people think "Oh you should use a hard brush and made sure that all of the shading's hard on the clothes" and shizzle. Sure, I use a hard brush, but I don't like it when there isn't at least a bit of smoothness in it.
Anyways...enough of my ranting. Hope you like this picture ^_^

Time Taken: 1/2 hour draw, 2 hours colour.

Perhaps the right shoulder is too white but the colors and textures of the dress are interesting nevertheless. I like her eyes color too.^^

Oh, I agree. I don't really like the 'hard' shading myself, besides everyone should create there own little style. One thing I would recommend though is to softly smoothen the darker colour on her right shoulder out more to the light colour. >.< I hope I said that right~
I think the girl is adorable, I like how she's standing with her hands crossed<3 Her blue eyes are reaaly pretty and the hair accessoires look cute on her

What's wrong with the coloring technique? I don't understand why someone would have criticism of how you do it. It works for you so stick with it.
If I were to try to say something critical of it, I might say that maybe the arms are a bit slim in proportion to the rest, but even saying that would be rather a stretch.
Cute image, smooth and easy to take in on the eyes. And it only took you two and a half hours? It's wonderful.

Well you know that poll saying 'would you commission me?' one of the people who said no told me the reasons, and one of them was that I should use a hard brush for the colours. At first I really wanted to please everyone so I tried it, but I ended up hating the picture Dx So I am going to do it in my way now ^_^ Going to use soft blending, but on another layer it's going to be a hard brush
