I just thought its time again to draw Alpha, one of my still fave characters!
Completely done in H-Pencil on smooth paper, approx 15 Minutes for this one or less, just drew it meanwhile my PC loaded a programm...
I still want to get a fully digitaly character-sheet of him done but these feathers are so much work..eh.!

I should really draw more traditional-media stuff, since that is the best base for the digital ones and I forgot how much fun that traditional drawing is

Dude...the intensity in his eye is...amazing! *stares* I can't believe you did this by hand...and in 15 minutes, too!
Yeah...feathers are pretty hard to do...but it'll be worth it in the end!

Hairstuff and Feathers are sometimes quite easier to create with traditional media, Pencil is quite good for a nice hair-shading, my digital feathers always turn out to be a bit too "plushy"

Yeah! Same with me! I can shade hair and do more detail with a pencil...but there's smoother shading on the computer...*sigh* Too bad we can't really mix the two...

huh? was that my Alpha? I mean maybe, I did create a grph named Alpha at the gryphon's guild a long time ago, but then ITW "fell" so I signed up at EZ board with Kuwaizair.

The name from him came up meanwhile working on some color-sheets for that comic, he is no RPG character or one I play somewhere he is "just" a character out of my current PrintComic. But yeah... I hope that didn't offend you

i left another comment on a differnt one., mine was more like an "avatar" or "net-sona" I did things under the name, so you should be the one not to flinch of somone dosen't like him.

To give pencil drawings a color-touch, scan them in gray-scale in Photoshop and click on Image -> Mode -> Duotone (that only works with grayscale pictures, if you pic isn't grayscale you must choose that at first) than you will see a menue, there is a field [Monotone] open it and click on [Duotone] Now there is Black and White, click inside the white box and choose a color, red for example, click okay, and you are done 
Be sure that you set Image-> Mode -> RGB after that so that you can over work it!
