now that you're my ap friend
you're stuck with me
which means,
you've got to log on
at least once a day
and say hi!

you see, my friend
you kind of saved my life
in a maner of speaking
and since you did that
(in asian tradition)
you are now responsible for me
for the rest of my life
(rest easy....i'm old...won't be forever)

it's my pleasure
to go on living
just for you

seriously
lots of reasons to keep on
the leaves here are only at about 40%
so have to stick around to see them at full colour
then there's my next birthday
november 2nd (hint, hint)
when i get to turn the big 5 - 0!
(should be good for extra presents...ehem)
then my niece who lives in norway
comes for a visit
which is always fun
then there's thanksgiving
where i get to eat without guilt
and christmas
more non-guilty eating
pretty lights
and this year
my family will have a baby
to help us celebrate
(no...not mine...i'm WAY too old for that)

you see...there's always that carrot dangling
that siren call
that keeps me going
even on days like today
when all i want to do
is crawl under my covers and hide

but i won't
not any more
see, i've got those things
to look forward to

and

i've got this new friend
kind of a mini me
well
not really
you are of the male persuasion

well...let's just say that
despite our gender differences
age differences
we've a lot in common

and now
you have become part of my lifeline
so, i expect that when i log on tonight
there will be a message from you
and you'll have taken your colourful phot
out of scraps!!!

to brain cells deprived too long

this place is rather sacred to me
my "church"
i always feel as though God/the Creator
hears my thoughts more clearly
when i am out in nature.

yes, it is a lovely place
however, it is in a park...no one gets to live there
except the wildlife
luckily, visitors are allowed!

Hi Liz,

I still have to learn how to navigate around this site. I entered [link] and various forms of that and got "This page cannot be displayed".
I entered a number which was stored showing that I had been to this page before and will now
comment on your photo (although I really wanted to tell you how cute the baby pics' are on another page that I can't seem to get to).

I like the peacefulness of the lake scene. I love nature pics' in general..natural beauty!

As I've said before, "I shall return"..with a little help from you. What URL must I enter to get to your main page? I've got my new password (which I'm going to keep in a safe place) and when I get your URL, that will go in a safe place, too.
