Ooo, I really like the colouring style on this. I like the touch of yellow as the "drop shadow" and using the lighter and darker blues as highlights and shadows... What a fun idea! I really need to experiment more with colours XD Have you any advice on choosing colours for highlights and shadows? I'm always a cheap cop out "lighter and darker shade of the same colour as the body" type person XD

What exactly is SAI, anyway? I've heard good things about it but never actually bothered to look it up.

its the lovechild of Photoshop and some other Corel things lol
but it has a little japanese feeling into it

yep its great, you should try it! but it lacks some features from photoshop, so if i cant finish up a pic in SAI i use PS for the final details
