  "Coming darling," Andrew said as he grabbed his clutch bag and waddled out of the bedroom. 'I'm not as agile as I was,' he though then had to stop as he felt the baby kick. He placed his hand on the bump and "not now little one," he said.

     "Are you coming?" Jessica called again from downstairs.

    "Yes dear," he replied as he rolled his eyes and started to walk or should that be waddle. Tonight was a big deal for Jessica she was getting her promotion to CEO announced at the company's annual summer ball.

     As he started to walk down the stairs he laughed as he remembered the thoughts he once had of being a CEO himself. How silly he thought. Men can't be CEO's, well not now. No, we were better suited to being proper little househusbands and fathers.

     No being a good father to his child was all he knows thought about, let Jessica play in the woman's world of corporate games. He was much more at home with the idea of changing dippers and night feeds.

    As he reached the bottom of the stairs, a stare thought entered his mind when did that happen. He stopped one foot on the floor the other on the step and thought when did it happen? He couldn't remember when but the idea of being the one to carry and raise their children was one that he had advanced he remembered that clearly. Jessica had been against it, the procedure was still new only really being used beyond an experimental treatment for infertility in the last five years but he remembered badgering her about it till she gave in.

   "You okay," Jessica said as she stepped out of the living room in her tux and he looked at her and how handsome she was, all thoughts went out of his head.

   "Yes dear, the baby kicked," he said with a smile as he stepped onto the hall floor. She moved over and placed her hand on his bump, "our girl can't wait to come out," she said as she reached in and kissed him.
