Description A just-for-fun-painting. The challenge was to use stronger colors and get rid of the dull touch most of my works have when they're done with watercolors. However, deviantart took some of the saturation, i used a strong ink red. I just looove painting birds and feathers!

Yeah, I always make sure that when I scan all the colour correction is turned off. I do all the editing after scanning where I can have the original picture next to the screen.

This time it wasn't about the scanning, it happened during the upload. The original file is just fine, but as soon as it got on here it turned all dull. It's frustrating, but i guess it will motivate me to paint even brighter Β

Some people had the same problem, mostly with photos. I'll just wait and see if that happens frequently and maybe I'll contact the support.Β

Did that, but dA absorbs the colors... i'd have to upload it extra saturated to make it look normal- without any guarantee. That really bugs me Β
