Don't worry. I'm not trying to start another argument about character design here XD I really just drew these two because they're both adorable bbys that I love and I wanted to practice differentiating between the two of them. Punzie's more realistic proportions, bigger eyes, and overall rounder features next to Honey Lemon's more exaggerated, stylized look. Plus her skin seems a bit darker in a lot of shots that I've seen. I THINK she's going to be Latina, judging by that and her being voiced by Genesis Rodriguez. [/rambling]ANYWAY enjoy.

Rapunzel: I'm glad to hear that. You see, Honey...you cut off ties with your parents...and since I'm immortal, I outlived my daughter...so, we need each other. I'm the closest thing to a mother you have. And as a mother, I worry for you. The Pony Sunset Shimmer once sang, "my past does not define me, cause my past is not today". That applies to you too. The only thing that matters is who you are now, what you accomplished, and the friends you made, the friends who love you and will give their life for you. And so will I. I am proud of you, Honey, and I pained me to see you torturing yourself. You are my descendant. You are part of the Rapunzel bloodline. That means you have a legacy...a legacy of kindness, compassion, bravery, heroism. And I see that in you. The greatest honor I have is for someone like you to carry my legacy.

That's why, in my stories, Honey is Rapunzel's modern day descendant.
And Rapunzel herself (who is immortal because she kept eating the Golden Flower of Wakanda) is a mother figure to Honey, being more of a mother to Honey than Honey's real mother.

It's just that I don't see how Honey and Rapunzel look alike??? I mean, other than the blonde hair? Isn't Honey's hair darker than Rapunzel's anyways?Β
