okay so I was reading through Doctor Who quotes and I found this one and it just made me think of Draco. I mean, he promises to kill Dumbledore so his family can be safe. The Malfoy’s make a good family. They don’t always make the right decisions but they’re a heck of a lot stronger than a lot of families I know. They do what they can to protect each other and I just love Draco and Narcissa’s bond. Because they would tear the world apart for each other. I mean, in the last movie, he's stood there, on the good side. Then his father calls him over and he's still stood there. Wavering, but still stood on the good side. Then his mother called him and he just went. Then in the woods, Narcissa lied to the most powerful dark wizard, just to find out if Draco was safe.WHY CAN'T MOST FAMILIES BE LIKE THIS

Finally! Someone who understands Draco! He does what he does because he has to do it to keep his mother safe: he never says that he wanted to be a Death Eater, in fact he actually says 'I never wanted any of this...'

Too right! I'm not sure he ever wanted to be bad, he was just born into it. If his parents had been on the other side, I bet he would have done exactly the same as now just reversed!

Since he was born he was like groomed to serve the dark lord: It's easy for parents to raise their child with certain views, its the same with Draco
