Description mmm...Figurative game art

They're called the red shepherds one because they can only see in shades of red, and because they guide the spirits of the dead. One is raging, one is broken, another is grieving, and the last is lost (I wasn't really sure how to convey 'lost' so I tried to make him look kind of pathetically confused )

hmm...hope you guys like

It reminds me of Slipknot, which is delightful.
Also, it reminds me of the masque of the red death.

you conveyed lost pretty well. I think it's just the angle of it's head and where the eyes are pointing

Fo Serious ...

The essence of the RED ... the Guides of the Dead ...

... "Rage, Broken, Grieving & Lost" ...

Absolutely wonderful & deeply Inspiring ...

I very much wish that someday my Art will be as fkn Rad as yours !!!

The shepherds are cool. Very expressive.
The picture lacks depth, however, and you have done better textures. I suppose you haven't put as much time in this one as the others I ed
But a wee bit more depth, and I'd fav this one too.

Perfect! The masks reveal rather than conceal. And wouldnΒ΄t you feel inclined to take some inspiration from Noh masks and create another masterpiece?

I like these very much. An alternate way to depict lost might have been to have the mask have no eyes, or eyes bound in cloth and have him/her led by one of the others while he/she is pawwing at the ground.

perfect capture of the emotions!

they remind me of spirited away in a sence, because of their bodies in relation to the masks.

and I see now that you actually DO art for games (I commented on another piece saying you'd fit like a glove doing game/character design)

keep up the most excellent work

Very nice piece of work, I like how raging is bigger, and thicker than all the rest, even down to his hair, and how each one seems to compliment the other. I really like how you made broken as well, only problem I have is perhaps you should've added a little more fog/smoke at the bottom, perhaps having it weave its way upwards more before fading out.

Humm.. I don't know what to critique... maybe changing either Raging or Lost hair? Dunno'.. the other two sheperds have different hair.. Maybe a different hair for lost? :/

Something else... What's under the mask?
