Description
A private commissioned piece for Β which is based on the Catapult mech. I was given quite a bit of freedom in this redesigned model and tried to combine design aspects to match my own style.Model and image Β© Liz Gibbs

Thanks! This one happens to be my favorite model out of the entire set of commissioned mechs. Tied for second is either my Cicada and the Jaunty Commando with the tilted helmet.

It's not really supposed to. Just that the original artwork seemed like it because of how the head was turned to the side. What the Commando was supposed to have was a face shield that came down like a motorcycle helmet (according to the original artist).Β
When I started the Commando, I had a chat with the person who commissioned me to do it. He liked the idea (to help make it look similar to official -- but different) and I went ahead and made what you see here!

Looks really good. I like this style. The Catapult is my favorite as well!!

I think the snake-head cockpit is its best feature. Gives it that menacing look of both a viper and an attack chopper.
