Most people that know much about my style of concert photography know that I'm not a huge fan of turning my shots black and white or monochroming them. I feel that without color, the entire atmosphere isn't captured. That said... this shot was monochrome from the camera. Monochrome being one highly saturated red spotlight right on the face photo. A lotta bit of post processing and desaturation later and I'm actually pretty pleased with this shot, despite the lack of color.
I wish I could see the photographer that was getting flicked off's photo!

yeah, and PR should think about setting up better lightning during their shows! I was shooting them last July and was nearly tearing my hair out with all the red lights...-_-
