Basically, they pretty much agreed to leave everything as it was before (Scootaloo stays, parents go off and do...whatever it is they do), so ultimately, they spent a whole episode covering how nothing really changed in the end, and it kinda makes wonder what, if anything, was learned in this. Not one of MLP's better episodes, admittedly, but not one of the worst, either.

We learned this fandom is full of stupid people who were fused to an idea Hasbro would never do. That Scootaloo was an orphan, despite plenty showing she wasn't before the episode.

I never bought that idea. Which is why I think the episode was Hasbro's answer to it. Just like Fame and Misfortune was a not so subtle stick to the worst parts of the fandom.

I could be wrong. But that's how I see it.

I never really bought the Orphanloo theory either, so I am glad they've finally set the record straight at least...but the episode they did it in still could've been better. But oh well, you can't win them all.
