Description This is a recently finished painting from 16-08-2010 (aaaages ago ). It's not often you see an old unfinished painting and want to finish it I really like how it turned out - though I realize the two on the right look a bit samey. CC welcome.

It's a pretty nice and well-detailed work you've done, but at the same time it's lacking a bit in atmosphere and scenery. The ogre across the bridge is very silhouetted and leans on rough details to display what it is, but it doesn't seem to be any further back than the surrounding (and pretty well-detailed) ruins. It's also a very empty setup, as if all that really exists in that whole area is that bridge and another piece of ruins behind there. If I were you I'd detail the ogre more, work in an extended background scenery (doesn't need to be more than a silhouetted one) and perhaps also balance the colours to build an overarcing atmosphere to it all.
