Description Pen and Ink on 12x18" Bristol
Kieran is part of a series of Winged/Tattooed/Leather clad boys in a series I affectionately called "The Dinner Plate Series" because of the recurring circle in the background that's traced around a piece of china. Kieran is a name derived from a word meaning “black” in Gaelic. Bored, a bit aloof and beautiful, he sits in contemplation - perhaps waiting to be noticed... and admired.

Thanks!  These were a fun series to do.  I affectionately called them my "dinner plate" series because the circle in the back were traced around my plates.  LOL.  Funny, but Kieran started with a pair of boots.  I wanted to draw the boots.... so I kind of designed a fairy that would wear them.
