FULL VIEW PLEASE!My first showable dabble with painter - and it just so happens to be a coloured lineart of 's fantabulous Devil Jin Lineart - woo!
Basic painting done in painter, colour adjustments and blurs done with photoshop

Aah, Devil Jin... Cool character, some details were overt the top though, like the whole chain thing. If you were in your devil incarnation, im sure putting chains around your legs isnt first on the agenda...
Aaaanywho, focusing on the colouring (of which is what attracted me to the piece) - I love the dark tones used. The blood red background helps bring out the character, and I love how the wings are quite dark, so its not too much of an obvious focus on these.
Painters a tough one to use, still havent used it properly as yet, but you seem to be doing a great job!

But d0000d...he's glowy. And shiny in the gloves. The illumination in this piece is just gorgeous; I love the contrast of the intense reds, be they highlights or shadows. And the lighting is done very well too--really makes the piece moody and Devil Jin really menacing--you definitely made some great colouring for my lineart, and for that I give you
Thanks again for making this kick-ass piece even moreso. I can tell you and Painter are going to get along reallllly well.

Nah its all good, I'm just glad you like - having such a spiffy piece of lineart to work from made dealing with painter in its teething stages just ever that much more pleasurable - so thanks for letting me at it
