Oh my gosh! I didn't know that she was in a new band! I stopped listening to Shiny Toy Guns after she left ... it just wasn't good any more. The second time I saw them, she held my hand and sang "Jackie Will Save Me" to me ... the whole thing. I was in awe. x]]

Yeah, she is! They're a really good band. It's with her husband! They released their first EP a little while ago, I have a signed copy of it
Season of Poison was such an epic fail. I loved Shiny Toy Guns beyond belief, We Are Pilots will always be one of my favourite albums, but the step down they took with their second album was awful. It was so sad. Especially because of how nasty it all went with Carah getting kicked out of the band because of nothing.

See, I didn't HATE Season of Poison. I liked "I OWE You A Love Song, Ghost Town and Ricochet" and I think Sisely is a fine rock vocalist.. But it was severely lacking what Carah brought to the table... Mainly in sound, but also in look and style.
Actually I don't quite know what happened and why Carah left?!

Really? I suppose I was a stubborn fan. Carah was always my favourite so without her in the band just it didn't sit right with me. I liked Sisely, her voice is really nice. I just remember when she was first announced, how horrible sme of the fans were. Because she was on the 'search for the next pussycat doll' show and basically, she just wasn't Carah. And then of course we heard how it all went down. It just took all the attention away from the songs and when we did hear the music, all these ill feelings were attatched.
Basically Chad and Jeremy decided they just didn't want Carah in the band anymore. She was out. She's spoken a bit about it on the Versant forums, and there are lyrics about it in her songs. She was very hurt by it. There's also this interview [link]

She was, but that ended some time ago. She is holding a leaf, it was from a photoshoot she did for a tattoo magazine, there were leaves in the background so I drew her holding one. /shrg

I never got to see Shiny Toy Guns, they never came out to Australia. We Are Pilots is a fucking amazing album. One of my absolute favourites. But then shit happened. Have you listened to much of Versant? Dare I say they're producing stuff that surpasses WAP.
