Me too! I had this Little Mermaid poster strategically placed on the wall right in front of my bed so when I went to bed at night I would have a better chance of dreaming of mermaids. I taught myself to lucid dream unwittingly that way...

finally, someone else did it! Whenever people find out that I used to do that they thought I'd was incredibly strange haha. Like I used to keep my legs in the position of a tail (legs together, feet pointing out) and hope that would help somehow with the human to merperson transformation. you can lucid dream? pretty jealous. I've always wanted to experience that but I'm slightly nervous about it. but I'd still love to.

Lucid dreaming is nothing to be worried about. It's just like starring in your own movie where you control time, space, and everything inbetween. Once you start doing it, you almost never have nightmares. (At least, I don't.) If I start to have a nightmare I just turn it around and create something better out of it. In fact, I sometimes "rewind" the events of the nightmare and just choose a different path to take in my dreams. It's more fun than being awake...

heheh, cute. Well, I used to love mermaids, until I heard a myth about them which told that the we'r monters and that they only looked like how we see them, but when you get closer, they grab you with their claws and eat ya.
...that scared me. I'm not REALLY terrified of them, but I don't love them as much as I used to.
