Well. Not we know what happens when Lux is pissed! 
You nailed that angry, "come any closer and I'll tear your face off" look perfectly. The red helps with that angry/something is wrong feeling, especially with the distinctly blood-like drips on the face and neck... and yet, it maintains the familiar atmosphere of your artwork with the glowing light and blue. The sad part is, it feels like the "good" part of the character is floating away along with the paler spots... maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I really like the emotional impact of this piece. It's cold and sad and hurt.
