Description
All ten of Bionicle's secondary elements, with original Nuva glyphs created in tandem with this design principle. It is very interesting to me how the reduction of visual concepts into simplified symbols references the style of early human writing and hieroglyphs in a sci-fi way.They were not designed to fit together in any specific configuration, with the idea being that a nuva cube's protodermis lock can thusly be created with a combination of any six elements, with all six keys fitting together in the combination of least resistance. Except for Light and Shadow together, they cannot be used in the same lock as they cancel each other out.
(Remember also that Artakha made multiple Nuva Cubes.)

tbh it seems light and shadow are pretty worthless elements.
You can wreck shit with all the other elements, but with light and shadow, what? You can blind people with light, I guess... but what else can you do with it besides being a walking flashlight?
