That's it. If I will work more on it, I think I am gonna destroy it complitely. So here it goes...I wanted to do a close up drawing since I realized I haven't done them so much, even more not lately.
I've used lots of pencils for this one lol Let's see... Mechanical 0.5mm and common pencils HB, B and 2B.
About the print:
The print does not have watermark in the corner.

This is the first time I tried new way. I didn't color the whole hair area. I used more like stripes method. And then used eraser to lighten different parts

do you use any particular techniques, or do you just draw freehand, and then he amazingly turns out to look like him?

I am not sure lol First I locate where everything will be in the drawing, draw lines etc... Then do a little bit of major coloring/ shading. Then start to work on details to get the closer look to the original.
There is some point in every drawing where I think that it looks like s*it and will not look like a real thing in the end. But the feeling fades away after half og the details is finished. You should see how funny it all looks without any hair or eyebrows. eewwww lol
