History: Star Gazer was born and grew-up in an old cottage just outside of Canterlot; She lived with her mother and her father and went to a Private school not far from her home. At school Star got average grades but the teachers were often disappointed in her because they knew that is she put more effort into her work she could do better, she was labelled a “daydreamer” by teachers, family and friends.
As a young foal Star was incredibly curious about the stars in the sky. She questioned them, wondering how they came to be in the sky at night and yet had disappeared by day. This curiosity led to her interest in star gazing.
On her eighth birthday she received her first telescope and has received many more since. Her favourite past-time is to take her telescope outside and simply stare up at the sky. From there she began to draw her own constellations, keeping them all neatly placed in a midnight blue folder which along with her telescope she had started to take everywhere.
As she grew older she started to volunteer at the planetarium in Canterlot. This job helped her to become more confident with herself; she began to share her ideas about the universe with anyone who dared to listen. She discovered that talking about something she loved was more enjoyable than keeping her ideas to herself. Sometimes she would even share her constellation artwork with some of the regular visitors to the planetarium.
She is currently working a part-time job at her beloved planetarium; here is where you will find her most days after school. If she’s not there you will find her and her telescope anywhere with a good view of the stars. Star Gazer hopes that one day her constellation designs will be recognised as official constellations. Until then she intends to finish school and perhaps take a full-time job at the planetarium.
