Finally finished! Debuted at Dragon*Con 2012!I'm so excited to be finished with this costume! I'm really, really happy with the way it turned out! I'd love to hear what you guys think of my interpretation of Rarity's Gala Gown!

This is aboslutely GORGEOUS! The colors go so well together! My favorite part is the bodice! It is so creative and exquisite. The dress is just so unique to you and you alone! The wig is amazing. Much better than what I see some Raritys with. I also like how your ears and horn look unique compared to most. I think the jewels on the skirt could have been bigger and more colorful but that is just me. Your bollero is very well done and such a nice piece to the whole cosplay! I am not to sure bout this but maybe try to add lace or suede gloves?

The jewels were actually the largest I could find that were the right color scheme and shape haha. They are also very sparkly, but I don't think that gets picked up in pictures.
I had considered doing gloves! I may add them in the future. I didn't in this case because Atlanta was so hot and I knew I would be too uncomfortable if I had gloves.

One of m friends used a resin to make hers. They do look stunning though
