Really happy with this piece, not least because it featured all those characters based on the people closest to me - and I really feel I captured them.

In front is Lo-yal, based on myself ^___^

Together; fighting as one.

PROCESS

Started as a exceptionally quick concept sketch.

Then onto the first draft sketch.

No specific reference, Just used the norm: looking at myself in the mirror for a hand or shoulder etc. asking my wife to hold a pose for a sec (for some of these she'd have to lean on the wall or some such ^___^) and the dress Harmony is wearing is actually one of my favorites of Roxy's.

With the initial sketch completed I started wit the fine liner, ensuring to draw each Character separately this time, to allow for flexibility after this piece was completed: playing with different groupings etc.

I scanned the finished line art in 600DPI, and coloured them using Photoshop CS5.
