Rox keeps asking why I drew this particular picture – It’s true, there are so many moments I’ve felt inspired to draw her, but when I was struck this time I decided not to procrastinate and rather, to sit down and do it!
It was a very organic – I really didn’t plan, I just gave myself the opportunity to enjoy it and let it flow. I never contemplated whether I would take it beyond a sketch, or whether I would colour it etc. – It just kinda happened, as odd as that sounds given that it took about 24 hours! But I just kept going.

As I said in the finished piece: the drawing took just over 6 hours and the coulouring was a further 18 thereafter.

Oh, and apologies for the sexist pronouns in the sentiment at the bottom - I was thinking of myself when I scribbled this on a rough piece of paper ^___^
