My entry for second contest - Summer Sandcastles ^^. (Thank you very much for the more than kind extension on the deadline). Ichigo misjudging his hit of the beach ball and the results don't look pretty...Rukia will NOT be happy...I'd run Ichigo haha.May I take a moment to just thank my friend as it was thanks to him that I got most of my motivation for this piece. The contest theme was his idea so he wasn't gonna let me forget about it, plus he put me to shame in the last contest so there's gonna (hopefully) be some revenge ass kicking going on lol.
Summer School put me in a horrible position for time with this one so I had to cut a few corners at the end. I was planning to do a proper background and improve on my terrible cell shading but I didn't want to risk using up more time.
There's a good few things am not too happy with, especially the eye. I made the horrible mistake of drawing the whole body before doing the face...ahh well, live and learn I guess.
Anyway, overall my digital art seems to be on the up for now so it's all good. Hope you all like it. ^^

P.S. The eye is really good, I don't think it is a mistake that you did the face last. I mean, I always do it in the end, many others do it like that, so it is not a mistake. It only depends on how is it easier for you to draw.

Hmm yeah, I guess mistake was the wrong word to use. It's just I usually draw where the eyes go and the size during the skeleton sketch...I having a clue why I didn't do that this time :S.

haha, the sand was probably the most technical in the number of tones I put into in. But the sand spray was rushed really bad, I just reduced the flow and opacity of a colour and scribbled haha.
