The photorealistic style is wonderful. The attention to detail and the textures are brilliantly realised. The layering of the translucent coloured petals looks great with the rich reds really glowing with the backlight. I think this is my favourite of the two cyclamen paintings.

you have such a wonderful eye for colour, texture, detail and composition.. that coupled with your obvious talent in painting makes your work so beautiful to appreciate. and for some reason, i really like the fact that you use the white of the canvas and not white oils..

Someone very special to me is also a painter. She uses quite a few different styles, like yourself she is exceptionally talented, i may be a bit biased when it comes to comparison however you work is quite amazing. Your ability to capture lighting is down right impressive, and you have a great eye for texture.
