Here's my final Illustration assignment for the year! Honestly, I loved my Intro to Illustration class; my art background is primarily character design and illustration, so getting to take a class based on that, even if it was at an intro level, was fantastic. Anyway, our final assignment was to design a gig poster for anything event we wanted, be it real or fictional. Jumping on the Animal Crossing bandwagon, and ultimately because I forgot how soothing and quiet that game was until I started playing it again, I figured I'd like to design a little something for one of my favorite characters in the franchise: K.K Slider! So here's my concert ad . Funny thing is, this drawing was done entirely in Photoshop... I don't use it often since I originally didn't like drawing in it all that much, but after playing around with four different brushes, the smoothing function for lineart, and having a sheer will that I wanted this to look as perfect as possible, I made this... And I couldn't be more proud of it

MAJOR EDIT: Edited type, added some more information, guitar strings, cleaned up shading, took away clouds, added more highlights, and more flowers, as per request of my illustration professor. Personally, this version looks much cleaner so I personally think this looks better than the older version.
