And why do you have to be that way to others? Is it because your art is so bad that you dont want to put any in your deviations? Do you have fear of others insulting your art? Hey, I'm not insulting the art. I'm commenting on the character herself, Peach. No matter how well drawn, she's a pain in my ass. If I sounded rude, I'm sorry. I was trying to be funny, and apparently the humor failed to land as expected. Guess that style just doesn't work too well..

As for why I haven't put anything in Deviant Art, I'm more of a writer, and this is a site better suited for drawings and short animations. There are better sites for posting fanfictions, original works, and random drabbles, but no better site to see nice pics and read some good, free comics.

I'm at least as eager for this to go on as you are. Save the anger for the enemy, soldier.

Trying to write a book at the moment, after two abysmal fanfiction attempts. The first fell flat, my original characters obscuring the characters in the tale I was putting them in (Inuyasha). Didn't even realize it until I reread it a few months after posting it. The other, I put two completely different worlds together, and ran into the roadblock that the one with more interesting characters was pretty much screwed. What can I say, removing the magic from the characters in one (Naruto) made them so easy to kill that it'd take eight different kinds of deux-ex-machina to get them through the next chapter alive, not the learning experience under different rules, with more advanced technology (StarCraft).

My writing has improved over the years, but even though all my creative cylinders have been going full steam, I haven't come up with a damn thing that holds together. Hence going to sites like this to search for inspiration..

Thanks! Yeah the attitude and actions of all the damsels in distress in games and stories are all pretty much cliche. Its like a standard so I figured somebody set some rules on them at some point.

Makes sense to me. I noticed there was a villian's union as well (that Bowser was a part of and that he was trying to recruit Ganondorf into). Do you think there might be a union for heroes too?

...Of course if there was, then there'd have to be a union for monsters, summon creatures, final bosses, etc. etc., and then game stories wouldn't be fun to follow; they'd all be just circumstances following guidelines that would be totally predictable and uninteresting.

Well I'm going to have to make a comic or detail what the two unions or sides are about. Basically in my mind a long time ago the two groups got together and came to an agreement about how to get along with one another til the hero arrived to save the day. Of course after a while a group would get more organized and offer benefits and rewards to draw more people into the group. I kind of have something written that explains it all but lets just say it mostly explains why most of the time the damsel is always safe by the time the hero defeats the villain. I think by the way I have things written it'll be explained more in detail after they escape the castle.
