"The wind too... It's almost...Peaceful." The boy continues to walk along the trail, unaware of his changes. His ears had already grown to a point before moving to the top of his head, now they flared outwards, his face growing a muzzle with fur. A tail sprouts out from behind him, swaying as he walks along. His hands, covered by his pants pockets, grow small claws, his fingers thickening and growing pads. He wiggles slightly as he walks, the fur on his body growing in. at last, his feet burst from his shoes, his left shoe disintegrating into nothingness, the magic of the forest removing it completely. His right shoe holds on to dear life, though it is a losing battle.

The boy takes in a deep breath. “I can’t believe mom was right. A good walk out in these woods was all I needed to calm down. I think I am ready to talk to dad again. I hope he is not too mad still. I didn’t mean to break the tool. I guess I was just impatient to fix my bike.”
