Well she is part of the classic lineup. If I have to pick out of the classics, I think I prefer Hoshii Miki or Ganaha Hibiki. Fake blonde and tanned skin.

I like their designs, not too completely girly I guess. Happy characters are okay, but I tend to don't like the energetic types. Mika's good, it's the pink hair that I like.
I see your point, long hair characters are great because you can apply various hairstyles on them. I thought the noticeable thing in my gallery are leggy characters.
