I've had this sucker sitting aound in my sketchbook for about half a year. I found the thing lying on the kitchen, looking so very lonely and decided, after many months, to finish it up. So here it is in all its black and white glory. I don't remember what exactly prompted this specific image, but I honestly don't care. I just think its kind of cool.Enjoy the black and white while you can. Hold onto your pants, boys and girls. Things are about to get very, very colorful...

I don't agree with the above commenter that this is out of character cause Zim is pretty lonely. I think it's the only reason he puts up with Gir, cause he doesn't have anyone else ta talk to. What inspired ya to draw this?

The inspiration....God, its been so long, I can't really remember. I think it was the moon, and the fact that it looks so lonely sometimes. I can't speak for anyone else, but when I look at the moon, it makes me feel a little lonely (as well as insignificant) as well. And then I was watching Zim. Pushed the two into a colossal blender and here it is. I agree with you on that, you know, Zim keeping Gir around because there's no one esle to talk to.

For some reason, when I saw him with those big pink eyes and those atenas, and big green head. I just thought he was so cute. The show and some of the characters are just so gross! Hmm, maybe that's why I like Zim....

Awesome border and scene. Zim looks so serene and peaceful here, it's a tad spooky. XP Do those Irken letters actually spell something out?

The font spells out the title of the picture. I used the irken font on my computer to write it out. It was long and tedious.
