Description
This species is described as the least uncommon of the Malayan Horaga species. It was first observed in recent years in 1998 where at least 3 specimens were seen in various parts of Singapore at the end of the year during the rainy season.

The male is bright blue above, with a distinct white spot at the discal area of the forewing. The white patch is larger in the female. The undersides are an ochreous brown with the distinct white band which is broader on the forewing and narrower on the hindwing.

Habitat & Habits
Its appearance has been erratic, but it appears to favour low bushes where it flies in its distinct feeble zig-zag manner. It has been seen in town parks as well as along the fringes of the nature reserves. When disturbed, the butterfly flies erratically but does not fly far.
