Description entry for a tournament on GFXFreaks. Now that votings over, I feel better about uploading it(the entries were anonymous).

This is a zaratan, a gigantic sea turtle from Arabian(?) mythology. Basically, a nigh-immortal turtle, spending most of its time sleeping and drifting with the ocean currents, over time ended up with entire ecosystems(and sometimes living creatures) on their backs. Just thought it was an unusual basis, instead of the 'usual suspects' of fantasy(unicorns, dragons, etc).

o wow, i looked at the pic at first and just saw an island but then read the description and thats so cool dude! its a giant turtle, awesome!

Glad you like it bro, I think it turned out pretty nice myself I got a ton of ideas for manips now; its just finding time. I think I may re-try a dragon one next.

thanks The stars, I hardly even notice em now, but I guess I have been looking at it for a couple weeks now, so I guess I just overlook em. Besides, the main manip is the turtle anyway

Nah, srsly I was kinda going for an 'early evening/early morning' look overall, without resorting to the typical sunrise/sunset color scheme. I may go back and try that coloring, though...see how it works out.
