As for the concept, is he actually a leech or is that just a name? That is to say does he drink flood or actually eat flesh?

He just looks like a seal with a leech head, so I called him that. This guy is definitely a flesh eater. I'm thinking maybe a scavenger of the seas, ripping off giant chunks from dead animals.

The truth is most species of leech don't actually feed on blood, and the ones that do often cannot bite and instead fine already dying or wounded animals. Those that don't need blood at all often eat small animals or decomposing bodies of larger animals.
so if you think he's a scavenger that eats dead things...then...yeah...guess he's a Sealeech (sleach?)

'Seal' and 'Leech' aren't meant to be indicative of their behavior, it's just two critters that it resembled, so it's really just a placeholder name.
