As some of you may know, a short while ago Alex Hirsch announced Gravity Falls was on its penultimate episode. Safe to say, I was gutted we're not getting a third season - but in all honesty I couldn't be happier that Disney isn't going to milk it for all it's worth and turn it into... Well, not Gravity Falls |'D I could blab for ages about how great the show is and how much it means to me, but for now I think "thank you" suffices just as well.#GravityFinale
on a lighter note never ask me to draw a background again, the second panel killed me I am dead bye... I'l get to replies later I'm uber lazy lmfao sorry guys

I don't want Disney to milk Gravity Falls; I especially don't want what happened to Nickelodeon's cartoons to happen to Gravity Falls, but I don't want Gravity Falls to end either... at least not forever. If they could capture the spirit of this show a second with something like "Gravity Falls: The Next Generation" or something like that, then that would be awesome.
Unfortunately, Alex Hirsch says he has no plans for anything like that at the moment. But he also says he doesn't plan on abandoning these characters entirely... I wonder what he has up his sleeve?

Yeah, I'd definitely agree. I'd hate for it to become a spongebob, you know? |D I just think it's incredible that Disney have respected the creator's wishes and let it just... Be, you know? I imagine it's making them a lot of money, so to let an opportunity like that go, that's something I can really admire on their part. I just hope Hirsch keeps on creating! I'll be sure to watch any other shows he gets behind, for sure!

I am literally teared up that Gravity Falls is ending...But at the same time excited...
We don't have Gravity Falls here anymore, so I am not caught up. My friend gave me a link though where I can watch it, so I'll have to when I get my stuff back.
I am kind of sad that we didn't get to know more about Fiddleford or Stanford (As far as I know), but at the same time, more headcanons for us!
There's so much I want to say, but I'm afraid I'll become too emotional XD
